We feature four gateways into neuroscience at IU. Many of our faculty work in multiple areas. We offer intensive training in neuroscience research through a combination of coursework, research training, mentoring, and professional development in a highly multidisciplinary research environment. PNS students are trained at the intersections between fields, which helps drive scientific advances. Over 80 faculty come from over a dozen departments and schools across the campus. Our broad expertise ranges from molecular and cellular neuroscience to behavioral neuroscience, cognitive and computational neuroscience, and clinical and translational neuroscience.
